About the Department
The Department of Otorhinolaryngology at INI Hannover offers world-class care for disorders of the ear, nose, throat, and related head and neck structures. We provide comprehensive diagnostics and treatment across the full spectrum of ENT medicine, including modern surgical and endoscopic procedures for complex conditions. A particular focus lies in advanced auditory medicine, with internationally recognized expertise in cochlear implantation as well as innovative auditory brainstem and midbrain implants for patients with severe or neural hearing loss. In close interdisciplinary collaboration with Neurosurgery and Neuroradiology, we also contribute to the integrated management of skull base pathology and minimally invasive CSF leak repair. This combined clinical and collaborative approach ensures that patients benefit from highly specialized ENT care within the broader neuroscience excellence of INI.
