Neurorehabilitation
New approaches to restoring and improving neurological function
Description
The Neurorehabilitation Research Program at INI Hannover aims to specifically restore and improve neurological function following diseases and injuries of the central and peripheral nervous system.
Modern concepts of neuroplasticity are combined with innovative approaches in neuromodulation, neurostimulation, neurofeedback and robotic and technology-assisted rehabilitation.
In addition to motor and sensory function, cognitive rehabilitation represents a central component of the program. Neuropsychological and behavioral-neurological approaches are combined with functional imaging, neurofeedback and neuromodulation.
