We warmly welcome you to our institute

We understand that a hospital stay can bring questions and uncertainties, and we want to assure you that you are in the best possible hands. Our priority is to provide not only exceptional medical care but also a supportive and comfortable environment where you feel safe and at ease.

We believe that recovery involves both excellent treatment and overall well-being. Please don't hesitate to reach out to our team at any time if you have questions or special requests – we are here for you.

Planning Your Admission

Scheduling Your Stay

  • Assessment Your admission follows a careful review of your case by the treating physician, either after an outpatient consultation or based on your submitted medical records.
  • Coordination Once an inpatient stay is recommended, our Patient Management Team will contact you to coordinate and schedule a suitable admission date.
  • Cost Information Before your admission, our team will discuss the financial aspects with you. You will receive a personalized cost estimate outlining the expected expenses for your planned treatment.

  2. Referral or admission form from your physician (if applicable)
  3. Recent medical reports (e.g., lab results, X-rays, doctor's letters)
  4. Current medication plan (if you have one) and enough medication for one day
  5. X-ray, CT, MRI, or other imaging results (films or CD/DVD)
  6. Personal identification (ID card or passport)

Important Note Regarding Valuables

Please do not bring valuable items such as expensive jewelry or large amounts of cash. A secure safe is available in your room's wardrobe for small items like your wallet or phone. To get the safe key, please leave a €10 deposit at the main reception on the ground floor. The clinic cannot accept liability for lost or stolen valuables not secured in the safe.

Your Admission Day: Registration and Arrival

Checking In

You will receive an invitation letter from our Patient Management Team confirming your admission date and time. Please arrive at the main reception desk on the ground floor at the specified time. Our reception staff will welcome you and guide you through the initial steps.

Registration Process

  • Formalities
You will complete the necessary admission formalities with our Patient Management Team.
  • Patient Data & Confidentiality
Your medical and personal information is handled with the utmost confidentiality, following strict GDPR and national data protection laws. Our Data Protection Officer is available if you have specific questions.
  • Patient Identification & Safety
Upon admission, you will receive a patient wristband with your details. Please wear this throughout your stay – it ensures clear identification during all treatment stages and enhances your safety.

Preparing for Surgery (If Applicable)

If your treatment includes surgery, your admission is typically scheduled for the day before the procedure. This allows ample time for all necessary preoperative examinations and preparations.

These tests are carefully coordinated with your surgeon to ensure maximum safety.

Settling into Your Room

Once registration is complete, a member of our team will escort you to your assigned room. Your designated nurse or caregiver will welcome you, provide important information about your stay, and help you get settled.

Necessary initial examinations or consultations will be scheduled.

Your Room & Facilities

The INI offers outstanding comfort during your stay. All facilities are designed so that you do not feel as if you were in a hospital: to create a hotel-like atmosphere, medical technology is concealed wherever possible.

All patient rooms are generously furnished with parquet flooring and modern, comfortable furniture. Large windows create an airy feel, and many rooms offer a pleasant view of the nearby park.

We provide single, double and triple rooms as well as exclusive suites for patients and their companions. All rooms have a hotel-style bathroom and also meet the needs of patients with disabilities.

On the wards you will find pleasant amenities such as lounges where you can meet your relatives and friends. The spaces are decorated with works of art, paintings and sculptures.

All of this is intended to ease the psychological burden of your illness.

Important Information on Blood-Thinning Medications

If you take anticoagulant (blood-thinning) medications (such as Aspirin, Marcumar®, Eliquis®, Xarelto®, Pradaxa®, Lixiana®, Plavix®, Clopidogrel, etc.), please inform us well in advance of your admission.

Depending on your medical condition and the planned surgery, you may need to adjust or temporarily stop these medications. Your treating physician will provide specific, personalized instructions on how to manage your medication before your procedure. Please follow their guidance carefully.
