Skull Base Surgery

Microsurgical precision and innovative technologies for complex skull base disorders

Description

The Skull Base Surgery Research Program at INI Hannover focuses on advancing microsurgical and minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of complex disorders of the skull base, cranial nerves and adjacent neurovascular structures.

The central objective is to achieve the most complete and safe treatment possible while maximizing preservation of neurological function and quality of life.

Building on INI’s long-standing microsurgical tradition, established skull base approaches are continuously refined and combined with advanced imaging, neuronavigation, endoscopy, intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring and innovative visualization technologies.
