Visualizing functional networks and integrating them precisely into surgical planning

Description

This research program integrates high-resolution structural and functional imaging, brain mapping, neurophysiology and innovative visualization technologies with neurosurgical planning.

Its objective is to generate patient-specific representations of functionally relevant brain regions, neural networks, fiber pathways, vascular structures and pathological lesions and to integrate these data into navigation and intraoperative decision-making.

Multimodal imaging information will increasingly be visualized in three-dimensional and interactive formats to enable more intuitive and precise planning of complex neurosurgical procedures.
